On July 11, 2023, we conducted the server wipe for Life is Feudal: MMO. This significant step allowed us to reset the game environment for the upcoming phase. The world rolled back to the initial state, and all characters and guilds were deleted, however, the players could reclaim the old character names or guild names.
Following the wipe, our players can now fully enjoy Life is Feudal: MMO without the fear of losing their progress. The game's world layout and resource dynamics remain unchanged after the wipe. Moreover, with the second wave of playtesting, we introduced several bonuses to both old and new players, ranging from in-game activities to free subscription trials. The following additions or reintroductions were made:
- Native villages in order to normalize NPC behavior.
- Old premium buildings as part of the bonus activities.
- Rewards for subscription duration or in-game activity. Old players were granted a 7-day free trial to explore the game again. Those who already have subscriptions got an additional 7 days to their current subscription period.
- Custom titles for the players that purchased a subscription before the wipe.
