The community survey regarding the future of Godenland has been completed. The feedback received has been invaluable and played a decisive role in shaping the upcoming world optimization.
Based on the results of the poll, a number of servers will remain active to ensure a stable and comfortable gameplay experience. The main criterion for selecting servers was the number of active players. The goal is to retain as many populated areas as possible, allowing players to continue traveling on foot without relying exclusively on teleportation totems.
Please refer to the map below for details on which servers will remain online.
Servers marked in red are scheduled for deactivation.
Green zones will remain unchanged.
The optimization is scheduled to take place on June 10, 2025.
Transition Assistance & Compensation for Guilds
This optimization will involve significant changes to the game world. Many guilds may find their primary bases located on servers that are planned for deactivation. To support active players during this transition, assistance and compensation will be provided.
Guilds with monuments on closing servers will be offered help in relocating to active servers, along with compensation for the inconvenience.
Request conditions:
-
A request should be submitted to the support team via ticket form or by email support@longtalegames.zendesk.com. Deadline for submission is June 5, 2025.
-
A guild’s monument must have been placed no later than May 1, 2025.
-
A request should be submitted by a guild leader. If a leader is inactive, an officer may apply — the Support team will assist with leadership transfer if necessary.
Request should include:
- A form with quantity and type of structures on a guild's claim before transition (make a copy and fill it);
- Coordinates of an old monument;
-
Coordinates of a new monument placed on one of the servers that will remain active (refer to the server map above);
Prior to making a request, a guild should:
-
Prepare warehouse shells to be later built by GMs and filled with q100 materials needed to rebuild structures as per the submitted form.
- Prepare carcasses of walls on a new spot for the GMs to finish.
Compensation includes:
-
q100 materials required to fully restore all declared structures.
-
2-month subscription extension for all active guild members.
- 100 gold coins for furniture, carts and other expenses.
Transition flow:
- Players find a new spot for their guild and do initial terraforming (if required). During this stage, players can request help with building a trade post nearby.
- Players then build a monument on the new place, as well as warehouses. During this stage, a GM can help with creating a monument and bringing it to the same level and support points as it was at the moment of destruction.
- A GM will then complete the warehouses and fill them with resources necessary for players to restore buildings as per the previously submitted form.
- Players then will proceed to complete their structures, while a GM will finish the carcasses for walls that had been placed.
-
A GM will then transfer contents of the old warehouses (armor/weapons/food) to the new place.
Note: furniture and carts will not be transferred.
Additional Information
What happens to regional resources from deactivated servers?
Upon request, GMs will exchange regional resources at a 1:1 ratio (same quality) for materials from inactive regions. Further details and instructions for requesting exchanges will be announced.
Can I get a refund if I choose not to move and stop playing?
Yes. A refund for the last subscription payment can be issued in the form of LiF Coins or original payment method, depending on how the subscription was purchased.
Will this optimization happen again?
The status of Godenland will be reviewed bi-annually. There are currently no plans to fully shut down the world.
What happens if I log in with a character left on an inactive server?
All characters will be automatically moved to a green zone. Each account will receive 6 teleportation totems for returning home without inventory loss.
