Maintaining fair play is crucial for Life is Feudal: MMO. To uphold the integrity of the game and ensure an enjoyable experience for all players, it is essential to address and take action against violations promptly. In this article, we will delve into the process of how we handle violation reports, from gathering evidence to delivering appropriate penalties.
Timely reporting
It is important to note that violation reports should be submitted within 7–10 days from the incident date. Beyond this period, tracking the violation becomes more challenging due to the peculiarities of log transcription. Timely reporting ensures that the team can efficiently investigate and gather accurate evidence to take appropriate action against the violators.
Reporting a violation
To report a violation, players should provide specific details. This includes:
- Name of a character or guild suspected of cheating or exploiting.
- Server Number.
- The time when a character was spotted engaging in suspicious behavior.
- Screenshot or video, that clearly demonstrates the exploit or cheating in action. You can find the instructions on how to record a screencast in this article.
- Client logs that can be found in the folder C:\Games\Life is Feudal MMO\default\game\game\eu\logs. These logs provide detailed information about the player's actions within the game.
Reviewing a report
Once a violation report is received, we initiate a thorough review. The review entails examining game logs, server logs, and any additional evidence provided. By meticulously analyzing this information, the Support team can reconstruct the violator's actions step by step in the game to gain a comprehensive understanding of the incident.
Deciding on penalty
After acquiring a clear understanding of the violation, a penalty decision is made. The penalties imposed on violators depend on the severity of the offense and the violator's history. Penalties can range from ban warnings to permanent banning.
The case might also be forwarded to the Tribunal. The Tribunal consists of specialists from different departments who assess the evidence and decide on penalties, considering various factors, such as the Сode of Сonduct principles, in-game rules, and the violator's records.
By following this algorithm and thoroughly investigating each case, we aim to deter potential cheaters, maintain fair competition, and ensure a positive gaming experience for all players.
